I’m Karolina Leśniak — the one behind La Mirada Studio.
Over the past 2.5 years I have travelled the world photographing architecture and hotels, collaborating with Relais & Châteaux and Design Hotels properties, which has allowed me to understand different design styles, the needs of investors, and the standards of international publications.
As an architect, I know firsthand how important it is to present a space properly – light, proportions, materials and details are crucial in building the image of a project.
My goal is to create photographs that highlight the character of the architecture and interior, tell its story, and effectively support sales, marketing and brand communication.
I photograph architecture and interiors with attention to what defines the whole – light, proportions, detail. My architectural background helps me understand a space before I even raise the camera.
I photograph hotels the way a guest would experience them: unhurried, with a feel for the atmosphere and the detail. My images support hotels in their promotion, setting them apart from the competition and building a strong brand image.
